The Debate To Night

We will all be watching and waiting for John McCain to say something that will break through to the public at large and turn this race around.

The reality is it is us each one of us that must work to turn this race around.  Obama is worried Acorn is catching up with him.  Obama has depended heavily on his use of Acorn and their voter fraud to pad his total and assure him a win.

Well here is breaking news on what has happened in an Ohio ruling today.

Judge Rules Against Ohio Elections Official in Battle Over Voter Registration

Ohio Republicans have sued Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner, claiming that elections integrity is at stake

http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/10/14/ohio-elections/

CINCINNATI -- A federal appeals court has ordered Ohio's top elections official to set up a system by Friday to verify new voters' eligibility.

The full 6th Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati has upheld an earlier ruling that Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner has to use other government records to check the thousands of new voters for registration fraud. A three-judge panel of the 6th Circuit had disagreed last week, but the full court's ruling trumps the panel's decision.

Ohio Republicans sued Brunner, a Democrat.

Ohio GOP Chairman Bob Bennett calls the ruling a victory for the election's integrity.
A spokesman for Brunner could not immediately be reached for comment. Brunner previously said there was no way to set up the system with such speed.

Many other states are following in weeding out the corruption and Obama has been linked to it and this is causing great concern on the blogs and comment sections of news papers.

The public is questioning what is going on and the media is going to cover it.

Obama and his campaign has put out a media memo today.  I will post it here and you will notice the same old

talking points.

OBAMA CAMPAIGN ISSUES TALKING POINTS TO MEDIA AHEAD OF DEBATE
Wed Oct 15 2008 11:15:03 ET

The Obama campaign issued a set of debate 'talking points' to media on Wednesday morning, the DRUDGE REPORT can reveal.

Press Secretary Sean Smith issued the directive in an email from Pennsylvania, 12 hours before the debate.

The directive oddly mirrors much of the main press analysis and theme of the current campaign:

* This is John McCain's last chance to turn this race around and somehow convince the American people that his erratic response to this economic crisis doesn't disqualify him from being President.

* Just this weekend the weekend, John McCain vowed to "whip Obama's you-know-what" at the debate, and he's indicated that he'll be bringing up Bill Ayers to try to distract voters.

* So we know that Senator McCain will come ready to attack Barack Obama and bring his dishonorable campaign tactics to the debate stage.

Obama continues to lead on the economic crisis with a rescue plan for Main Street.

* Over the course of the campaign, Barack Obama has laid out a set of policies that will grow our middle class and strengthen our economy.

* But he knows we face an immediate economic emergency that requires urgent action - on top of the plans he's already laid out - to help workers and families and communities struggling right now.

* That's why Barack Obama is introducing a comprehensive four-part Rescue Plan for the Middle Class - to immediately to stabilize our financial system, provide relief to families and communities, and help struggling homeowners.

* This is a plan that can and should be implemented immediately.

* Obama has shown steady leadership during this crisis and offered concrete solutions to move the country forward - and his Rescue Plan for the Middle Class builds on the plans to strengthen the economy and rebuild the middle class that he's laid out over the course of this campaign.

* Already in this campaign, he's unveiled plans to give 95 percent of workers and their families a tax cut, eliminate income taxes for seniors making under $50,000, bring down the cost of health care for families and businesses; and create millions of new jobs by investing in the renewable energy sources.

* John McCain has been erratic and unsteady since this crisis began - staggering from position to position and trying to change the subject away from the economy by launching false character attacks.

You will notice that it contains the same old talking points as usual.  Look for them to be repeated in mass by the Obama media.

I am going to ask each and everyone to forget the poll numbers you are seeing at this time.  A hard thing to do I know but let me explain why.

Let's go back to the 2000 race, Bush/Gore ok?  Do you realize that only about 39% of the registered voters in this country even bothered to vote.

Do you realize one of the reasons that Florida was so close was because Florida is a state that is in two time zones.

Because of this when the media called the state for Gore the polls were still open in the panhandle of that state for another hour.  The panhandle is heavily Republican.  Many voters who were in line in the panhandle gave up when they heard the news that Gore had won the state and did not bother to vote even though there was an hour left for them to vote in.

The media also held back reporting Bush's wins in eastern time zone states to affect the voting in the central time zone and in the west.  Gore wins were promptly announced.

An illusion that Gore was winning was there objective and they almost achieved it.

That is what is happening with the polls that you are seeing today.  McCain from what I can see is starting an upward movement.  Obama has dropped to 48% in Zogby poll.

The poll numbers will be shown below at the end of this post.  We must get out the vote and encourage others who want to throw up their hands and say what is the use to go out and vote.  They are not expecting a mass turn out in fact the media is actively working to suppress the turn out of McCain supporters.  Talk to people ask them to vote if for no other reason then to let congress know they are there and watching them.  After all if you only had to worry about 39% of registered voters showing up to vote why worry about what they want when you are passing laws in congress.  Voter apathy is what Obama's campaign is counting on along with Acorn and since its fraud is being caught it puts him in somewhat of a bind.

We all know Obama is an illusionist now is the time that we mobilize and expose the illusion that Obama and the media have foisted off on us.

Go to the voting booth let nothing stop you and encourage people who have given up to go also.

Obama and the media are playing a head game with us do not fall for it.  The power is in the vote and as McCain said the other day I think Obama forgot the voters get to vote for who will be president not the polls not the media.

Please feel free to copy this and send it out on your e-mail list or post on other blogs.

Sorry the Zogby Poll results will not copy to this post please use this web address to view them.

Stop the Obamunist!! Please Pass it on. Please

This is an awesome email that I was just forwarded. You all should read it, take heart to it and then pass it on.

I urge you to read this message and forward it to as many people as you can. America needs to know all we can about the man that may possibly be sent to the White House in January.

Senator Barack Obama has many plans to implement change in America if he is elected. What can be argued, is if it is good change.

Barack Obama has recently released a "Truth Squad" in the state of Missouri consisting of lawyers, politicians, who have orders to prosecute any character assaults on Obama. Since when is questioningillegal?? Apparently to Obama, it deserves severe and swift punishment.

The governor of Missouri later issues a statement saying that he feels Obama is violating the civil rights of the people in the state of Missouri by condoning this action.I guess we will have to wait and see how long this guy will have his job if Obama gets elected

http://governor.mo.gov/cgi-bin/coranto/viewnews.cgi?id=EkkkVFulkpOzXqGMaj&style=Default+News+Style&tmpl=newsitem
A video was recently released on Obama's website featuring children singing a song about how Obama will change the world and "save" America. The children were dressed in Obama t-shirts in a school, thats right.. a school, with Obama posters hanging on the wall. The video caused some controversy so it was immediatelypulled from his website, but can still be found on youtube. The whole thing is very Hitler's youth-esquecreepy. Of course Obama supporters argue that it is cute. I bet Hitler and Stalin's supporters thought they were good guys too.http://www. youtube. com/watch?v=0LsrtppY2Dc

Obama's campaign has recently purchased a television channel for the Dish Network satellite station. Thats right, if you turn to channel 73 you can see Obama's campaign commericial story played on a constant loop 24/7. Very 1984ish dont you think? George Orwell would be proud.http://www. politico. com/blogs/bensmith/1008/The_Obama_channel.

Barack Obama has also recently developed his own applicatiouse on an Iphone. This applicationto Barack Obama media updates, allows you to prioritze your campaigninObama and allows you to access a network of other campaignerand compare yourself in a points system to how well you are doing against others.http://my. barackobama. com/page/content/iphone

I beg of you to forward this e-mail to as many people as you can. Regardless of if these enlightening people deserve to know the truth about Obama.

Obama has clear ties to terrorists (Bill Ayers and the Weathermen),has attended a racist church with a racist minister who believes whites should be made to suffer (Jeremiah Wright), known criminals (Tony Rezko) and his wife even admitted that she had never been proud of America until Feburary of this year, when Barack was making his climb towards kingship.

There is a clear pattern developing here and we as Americans need to make a wise decision about it. I strongely feel that we are backing the wrong horse. This man wants to make our government overshadowing coming to light I think we can see why. Giving the government more power over people when it is controlled by a man who has some very obviously dictorial tendencies could destroy our values as a nation. All it takes is one second of weakness by the people for all that power to be snatched away.

I for one dont want to take that chance.

Please pass this to everyone you know.

Gas Shortage

I live in South Carolina, not a city just a moderate size town and we have had many
of our stations out of gas recently.
This whole thing reminds me of the gas embargo during Carters administration.

When articles about this started appearing on the web I checked them out to see
what people were saying.  The people in the south who were experiencing the problem
were posting to others not to panic and to cut back on consumption.  People were
cautioning others not to fill up gas cans and make matters worse for all.

People who were posting from parts of the country not having this problem in a large
majority said it was a dumb Redneck problem and we should quit being upset about it.

For me it is a snapshot of things to come.

The night before the hurricane hit Texas people started filling up there tanks and gas cans.
Prices here in town went to almost $5.00 per gallon.  My daughter was coming home from
school that night and called me .  In her words on her 25 mile trip home she watched the
price rise and stations crowded with cars.  For her it was unreal.

The next morning I got a call from her on her way to work the prices had gone
from $3.75 to $4.99 per gallon .  Because we live in  a costal state that can be
hit by a hurricane we have a price gouging law.  It applies to Hotels and gas stations
and was written after Hugo hit our state.  People who were evacuating from the
coast had been hit with high gas prices or no gas at all and that created a problem
for them trying to flee the storm.  Once they got to shelters some were full or
the people decided on there own to stay in a hotel.  Once again they were taken
advantage of.  You see it is not just the gas companies who take advantage
of people other industries do also.

When my daughter called me in the morning I contacted our Governor by e-mail
told him what was happening and requested the gouging law be enacted.
His response was swift.  Any gas station was to be reported, investigators will
look at the station's last gas delivery cost and if the price they were charging does
not reflect a reasonable price they will be fined.

Now let me tell you first hand who was gouging.  It was the mom and pop stations.
BP held the price at $3.99 per gallon and limited gas to 10 gallons,
Exxon held the price at $4.35 per gallon and limited gas to $40.00 per fill up.

What did many people do.  They ran to there garage and grabbed as many gas cans
as they could and went from gas station to gas station filling them and every car they
owned up.

The next day I got a call from the Governors office what a shock.  The aid who called
asked me for any thoughts I had on what was happening.

Usually a storm hitting in another state has little effect on our prices but this one was big
and where it hit was going to cause gas problems because of the refineries in the area.

My thoughts on how to handle it next time were as follows.
All of the Governors meet and agree that should something that looks like it has the potential
of causing a disruption occur the states nationwide should have price gauging laws.  They
should also mandate that gas stations limit gas to 10 gallons except in the area where the
people would need to fill gas cans to keep generators running.
All emergency, law enforcement, trucking industry, and relief personal would not be
under the 10 gallon limit.

Sounds harsh does it not?  Well let's take just one industry shall we.
The power is out in Texas.  Some of the parts that are need to restore power are made
by the company my husband works for.  We need to get the power on in Texas for the
people and the refineries.
Remember I am in South Carolina, the parts need to move from here to Texas.  Power
crews from other states will be going to Texas to restore the power.  Should the Power
crews or the trucks with the needed parts be unable to get gas on there way to Texas
they will be dead on the side of the road.  Electric power will not be restored very fast.

Now let's explore another problem that no one talks about because most do not realize
it exist.  Back when Hugo hit and Andrew years ago my husband's plant had a stock
of parts on the shelf.  Anything they did not have they would pull from a customers existing
order.  Parts were supplied rather rapidly.
Today that is not the case.  Because of the tax laws that were enacted under Clinton companies
are charged taxes for the parts as they sit on the shelf not when they are sold.
So my husbands company does a one part in one part out the same is done with the
materials that make the part.  So at work my husband pulled from every existing order
and used materials meant to make another customers order, to send to Texas.
Now shorting a customers order is always done in an emergency that is not a
problem.  The problem comes in if there are not enough materials to make enough
parts for Texas after all have been used.   You guessed it the lights will not come up
any faster if you need more material to make the parts needed and you have to wait
for the material to be shipped and the time to make the part.
Tax laws are such a catch 22 are they not?

Well now we have a bailout bill and no Energy Bill although Bush has requested one
so many times.  And some out there still harbor the illusion that we can convert the whole
country to electric cars and run our electric plants on wind with in 10 years. Everyone
could use an education on our power grid system how they work and the laws that govern
them that would be a real eye opener.  But I will not go there on this posting.

And so many want to hate the oil companies and demanding that companies pay higher
taxes.  It is easy to hate the other guy right?

Well get use to the gas shortages.  Because hate will move you no further down the road
then an empty gas tank.

You want Obama, enjoy your empty gas tank.  I lived through this under Carter I guess
I can do it again.

No Rescue for the Hungry

The Washington Post today published an article No Rescue for the Hungry.  Here is my response to it.

No Rescue For the Hungry

It should be unthinkable to look the other way as tens of millions of low-income Americans go without food or shelter.

My daughter works for a food bank so I have a little insight into this problem.
Yes the USDA food comes into the food banks and is still coming in. USDA is meant to be a supplement.
No Food Pantry can run on USDA food alone that is stated in the USDA food manual.
With the recent passing of the Farm Bill act the amount of funding to USDA was raised from $180 million to $250 million this year.
Even with the increase of USDA Food, food banks are still dependent on local donations.
The Food Banks are running short of food. In-fact the food bank where my daughter works closed one of it's satellite offices last week.

First one must understand a few things about a food bank and who they serve.

The churches, soup kitchens and various other programs in your area come to the food bank to purchase food for their work.
The food is not free but at a greatly discounted price to agencies and given free to those in need.
Rarely do individual people receive food at the food bank when they call they are directed to the Churches and Salvation Army
(also a purchaser at the food banks) to have their needs met.
My daughter and other members of the food bank where my daughter works has at times delivered food directly to a family in need
when other agencies were closed.

The bulk of the food at any food bank has always been from donations from corporations and individuals like each of us.
Food banks do food drives and collect money to purchase food in bulk at a discount price.

So it is wrong to claim that the decline in federal funding for food bank's use is the only problem with the shortage.

Corporations are cutting back in their contributions and individuals well a large majority do not care.

The writer of this article would have better served all of humanity had they taken the time to understand how a food bank
operates and simply said. Times are tough for all of us, there are others in need, one day it may be you.
People get involved. Do not expect the federal government to do it all and do not write about a problem simply for political gain.
All the writer of this article has shown me is that they are part of the problem not part of the solution.

I feel we may all be saying in the future BROTHER CAN YOU SPARE A DIME.
Look in your local grocery store do they have a bin for food to go to the food bank?
Call your local food bank they are in the phone book. Find out where food drives are happening and contribute.
You know even a can of tomato soup is a G-d send to a hungry person and one day you may just find that out for yourself.
You would be surprised just how much a dollar will buy when give to a food bank instead of you purchasing a dollars worth of food.

It should be pointed out that during the debate when asked witch programs each candidate would cut out
John McCain spoke of a spending freeze. Obama still wants to make you think his campaign of
wonderful programs will still take place by just cutting out a few items here and there.

Goodness with a $700 billion dollar bailout and the government is not sure that will stop the slide.
Who do you think is more realistic in looking at the future?
When you make your own budget do you not freeze your spending and
realize the vacation you were going to take is not now something you can do if you want to pay your bills
and keep a house over your head.

Think about that when you go to the voting booth.

Dreams are one thing reality is quite another.
